  How any American citizen professing even a modicum of patriotism can countenance -- much less endorse -- Trump's traitorous refusal to punish Russia's attempted sabotage of our democratic processes, with anyting less than outrage -- is beyond me.

  Or how the dwindling members of the Greatest Generation feel about his Charlottesville rationaliziation of neo Nazism as they go to their graves.

  Leaked videos - Why?

  thank you to those that have passed on "leaked" videos.

  one point that i have not seen discussed is "why" apostates are getting these videos.. are videos getting out because of a lack of internal controls, or are there more than a few disloyal insiders that are more than happy to pass on inside information.

  or, is there a strategic intent of releasing leaked videos?.

  My impression is that they're coming from disillusioned insiders who see the disclosures as ways to embarrrass leadership, militate for changes and/or disabuse the naive rank- and-file of any fanciful notions as to the inner workings of leadership.

  so i was watching some of the dramas screened at the be courageous convention, and one caught my eye.. it's the scene where a group of jw teens are watching something deemed as "sinful" at the movie theaters.

  The Ride

  the ride!.

  about 2 weeks ago i went on a one day motorcycle ride with about 50-60 other jw’s.

  (at least most of them claimed to be dubs) it’s an event that 2 jw fleshly brothers put on every year.

  Not hard to believe at all... it's what happens when JW friends converse just after the final "amen" at the Sunday meeting... it's usually about the afternoon football game they're about to watch, their vacation plans, comparing restaurant notes, or exchanges of recipes by the ladies, etc., etc., etc.....

  IN SHORT: anything but discussing what they just sat through for for the past two hours.

  Scary Effectiveness of Assembly Videos

  well, i got to see the final day of this years regional convention.and i saw something that disturbs me.. the final, "summing up review" video.

  it disturbs me because it was so well done.

  (i wish i could remember the title of the song), to the strains of a solo vocalist singing in a fine "irish tenor", we see the actors from the previous videos of the last few days all assembling together in a clearing.

  I think the unintended effect of all this technological wizardry and its "shock and awe" impact on the masses will be to underscore just how tedious, boring, irrelevant and "dry as dust" their weekly meetings are in comparison.
